UNLOCKED: YOUR FULL PROFILE

THE HOLDER

THEME: CONTROL = SAFETY.

OVERFUNCTIONING IS YOUR REFLEX.

You’re always on top of everything.

Not because you want control, but because you can’t afford not to be.

You’re mid-meeting. Someone’s dropped the ball. No plan, vague direction, deadline slipping into chaos.

Without even blinking, you jump in. Fix it. Fill the gap. Carry the weight.

Not because you want to. Because you can’t not.

You’re the one who holds it all. The safe hands. The steady one. The one who sees the risk before it hits the surface.

And here’s the real truth — you don’t need everything to go your way. But the idea of letting go?

That feels riskier than holding the entire room.

There’s a pressure you carry that no one sees, because you make it look effortless. But it’s not.

It’s heavy. And sometimes, holding everyone else means no one’s holding you.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE HOLDER

This isn’t about being a control freak.

It’s about emotional safety.

Somewhere along the way, you learned that control = safety.

So when things feel uncertain? You plan harder.

When there’s tension? You manage it.

When people fumble? You quietly catch what could break.

It’s worked. For years. But now?

It’s draining you more than it’s protecting you.

What’s Really Going On

You over-deliver, but no one sees the emotional labour

You’re stretched so thin, your creativity’s barely breathing

You get results, but your nervous system is wired for crisis

You keep saying “it’ll calm down soon” — but it never does and you end up just...waiting.

What It’s Costing You

Not another calendar hack.
Not another strategy to manage the pressure better.

You need a nervous system that feels safe — even when things are messy.

You need tools that help you:

  • Pause before the automatic “I’ll sort it”

  • Let go without guilt

  • Stop tying your worth to how much you hold for everyone else

This isn’t about more control.  It’s about release.

What You Actually Need

Run a 2-minute Control Check.
Before jumping into a task or conversation, ask:
“What am I gripping right now?”
“What’s the real worst-case if I ease off by just 10%?”

Leave one thing undone — on purpose.
A message unanswered. A task not perfected. Let it stay incomplete. Sit with the discomfort. Give yourself full permission to let it go.Let your system learn: nothing breaks. It’s safe.

Use a cue word to interrupt the spiral.
When you catch yourself over-explaining, taking over, or doing too much — pause. Say a word like breathe, soften, or enough to anchor back into your body.

LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

I’m Lauren

I’m here for the women who’ve done everything right, and still feel like something’s missing.

The ones who lead with care, carry too much, and quietly wonder…
“What if I didn’t have to hold it all?”

I know that place.
I spent years shape-shifting to succeed in rooms that never really saw me.
I built a version of confidence that looked great from the outside — and felt hollow underneath.

The turning point? Realising it wasn’t my confidence.
It was a mask. A strategy. A way to stay safe.

Now I help other emotionally intelligent women come back to their power, their voice, and their way of leading — with strategy, softness, and zero apologies.
